Islands

Cleveland, 1975-7

Islands were a Cleveland band that played the Agora and Mistake weekly for while in 1976-7. The band included four members, Andy Raz (bass), Bill Flower (keyboards), Mick Mansfield (drums), and guitarist Juan Gomez. All but Gomez had been in Fresh.

The band started playing out around June 1975 in Geneva-On-The-Lake but soon hit Cleveland clubs. In addition to the Agora and Mistake they also played the Looking Glass.The last known gig was a 1977 New Years Eve party there.
