Four Tracks

Toledo, 1968-9

The Four Tracks were a four member soul vocal group. The members were Victor Webb, Eugene Lane, Tommy Lee Jones, and Leonard 'Pop' Taylor.

The group recorded one high quality 45 for their own label. The recording was probably done in Detroit. Howard Collins of Chanson Records was credited as the arranger. The address on the label gives the street address on Door which is a misprint for Dorr Ave in Toledo.

The group performed both sides of the 45 on the Ken Hawkins' World Of Soul TV show in 1968. No footage of any of World Of Soul show is known to survive.

.Leonard Taylor was the brother of Gloria Taylor, they worked together after the group disbanded, Eugene Lane is deceased.
