Crusaders

Hamilton, 1963-4

The Crusaders were the first band for Roger Troutman, who played guitar (or keyboards).  He was 13 years old at the time. The rest of the band included Newbold, Beck, Eisemann, Schoeny, and Spitzmueller.

The band recorded a 45, which according to the Rite pressing account number, was recorded at Film Associates in Dayton.  The two sides are surf/garage instrumentals.

After this band, Roger went to his own band, Lil Roger and the Vels.
