Angela Alexander and J. D. Saddler

Cleveland, 1970

Angela Alexander and J D Saddler sounded like they were the Ike and Tina Turner of Cleveland. Their lone 45 on Soul Kitchen has two sides of funky groove with Angela and John exchanging some witty dialog.

On the 45, J. Fergerson is credited with the arrangement.

Little else is known about the two, although the song copyrights give a Cleveland address for John D Saddler. There is a 1968 copyrighted song attributed to John D Saddler but it's not confirmed to be the same person.

According to Boddie paperwork, 500 were pressed, but there are not a lot of copies in circulation.
