Ambleside

Ambleside was formed from the demise of December's Children, with brothers and former DC members Bruce Balzer,Craig Balzer, and Bill Petti joining drummer Mike Amato. Early gigs had them billed as 'formerly December's Children', a bit of a stretch. Ambleside hopped right on the rock club circut and played often at places like the Utopia, Agora, etc. The band's forte was guitar rock songs like the Allman Brothers, Neil Young, and the like. In 1973 the band, although still very popular, disbanded when the Balzer brothers joined Circus.
