Adamkosky

Columbus, early1970s

Another entry in the gigantic pool of 1970s Ohio artists who recorded self-released LPs, Adamkosky was the surname of the singer, songwriter, guitarist - almost every part except for banjo - for the creators of the LP, Michael Adamkosky and, I will guess, his brother Walter Adamkosky.

The LP has been labelled 'psych' but it's nothing like 70s prog/psych of the Owl label artists. Probably more of a folk/singer-songwriter sound.

The LP was recorded at Coronet, one of the few, maybe only, rock records recorded there in the 1970s.

We don'r know what become of the Adamkoskys, or know if thyey were in other bands.
