the Young Ideas

Weirton, WV, 1968-71

The Young Ideas were a soul-styled band from the Weirton area, with a couple members from other area cities like Follansbee, WV. They were led by Ronald Bulboff. 

They played a lot in the Steubenville/Weirton area from 1968 into 1971, nightclubs and teen dances. 

They recorded a 45 in 1970 on Pittsburgh's Jeree records. The 45 has a a great funky soul groove on the A side "Losing You Has Made Me A Winner", written (as was the flip) by Bulboff and Hicks.
