Toney and Rizen
Cleveland, 1964/5
Guitarist Gene Toney and keyboardist Chuck Rizen were Cleveland jazz musicians who collaborated on a couple songs that were released as a 45 on Laurie records. Toney is related to producer Jimmy Testa. Testa produced the session at Cleveland Recording using his typical production techniques with an obvious nod to the big hit "Telstar". Toney and Rizen did some other recording session work that was not connected to the rock 'n' roll scene.
