Sue Darby

Dayton, 1967

pic

Sue Darby is best known for being the singer for the Mark V (before Sonny Flaharty) and Green Lyte Sunday, who formed from the Mark V.

In late 1966 or early 1967, she went to New York and recorded a 45 for ABC. According to the article, the record was supposed to "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby", recorded by the Toys and Question Mark and the Mysterians, backed with "Attack" which was also originally recorded by the Toys. The record that came out has "Call Me" in place of "Attack". "Call Me" is not the same as the Petula Clark/Chris Montez hits.

The record doesn't seem to have been much of a hit.
