Society's Children

Bellevue, 1967

pic

An obscure 45 by a band from the Bellevue area. "Holly's Vault" is an instrumental with a raga influence and "Children Of Today" is a moody midtempo folk rock song.

Tom Halsey, who was the singer according to the picture, is co-credited with writing "Children of Today". He was a student at Bellevue HS at the time. The other writer's name is Snyder who is not included in the pic (or using a different name). Carl Navarro is listed as the producer, he was also a Bellevue HS student.

The band played in Sandusky often, which is where Lombary Music was located.
