Praytells

Cleveland, 1969-70s

The Praytells were three teenagers that started in the late 1960s. The group's lead singer and leader was Norman Harrell.

In 1971 the group recorded a couple of Norman's songs for DeBrossard records. The record was  recorded at Motion Picture sound. Both songs are nice slow--midtempo soul songs. The record got some airplay and sold a few copies. 

The group performed locally for a few years as far as we know. There is a record made in the 1980s that credits include the name Praytells. It seems like there would be a connection, but  that's to be found out.
