Pat Stallworth
Cleveland, 1974-early 1980s
Pat Stallworh was a young lady when she made her only 45, in 1974. According to a story in the PD, she was performing at Cleveland's Karamu House, likely musical theatre. BIll Jacocks selected her for his Fly-By-Nite recording label, and wrote the song "Questions" for her.
The recording was done at Agency Recording with Arnie Rosenberg. It's a nice, well recorded jazzy soul record, that got some deserved airplay on WABQ.
Pat was playing in Cleveland clubs occasionally in the late 1970s and early 1980s, first appearing with a group named Destruction, then as a singer with the Epics Revue. She also contiuned working in theatre.
Beyond that, we don't have much more info. A woman with the same name was listed as runner up in a Cleveland wet T-shirt contest from 1981.
