Odessey

Toledo,early 1970s

A 45 credited to Odessey was released in 1973, a self produced/released 45.

The song writers were Doug Bahnsen and Jim Gartee. They were both from Toledo (or suburbs) and in their late 20s. Gartee was credited as a member of the Twilighters in the early 1960s and played on the Jay and Ray 45.

The record has a female singer and has a good post-psychedelic rock sound.

The band's name is spelled Odessey - Odyssey is the more correct spelling, we don't know which was the intended spelling.
