Nesters
Dayton, 1964
The Nesters was the artist name on a 1964 45 released on the Hilltop/Prism custom N&S label.
The record has a country-pop sound. The songwriters were Lee Hensley and Chuck Wendling. The Nesters name is probably a studio only group led by Hensley and Wendling.
Lee Hensley was a DJ on WPFB, a Dayton Country station. Wendling also lived in the Dayton area but doesn't have any other credits to our knowledge.
The N&S label was used for two consecutive records in the Hilltop/Prism numbering system, Nesters and Tony Mac.
