Cleveland, 1967-8

The Motley Crew came from Cleveland western suburbs. The band included Lee Montgomery (vocals, keyboards), Joe Flannery (guitar), Greg Ornas (guitar), Dan Horton (bass), and Oliver Perry (drums).

"We were a local cover band in 1967-8. We played the Hullabaloos, CYOs, and even Boston Mills. The Teen Fair was a blast, We got to hear some great local bands" (Lee Montgomery)

The 1967 Teen Fair had over 200 bands playing! The Penny Arcade won the competition.

Lee Montgomery joined the Kismet Maze - "The only reson I left Motley Crew was the opportunity to play with Russ Jankowski who I became friends with at Tri-C in Parma. I remember thinking 'I'm in a band with the Tree Stumps!"

There are no studio recordings of the band.
