the Last Exit
Casstown, 1967
Some small town/suburbs north of Dayton was the home of the Last Exit, a five member teen band. They recorded a 45 at Wildwood studios out in Brookville, and like most all the Wildwood 45s, they have a primitive sound. The 45 certainly leaves no doubt as to the tempo of the songs, titles being the Fast One and the Slow One!
The band members were Keith Petty, Rick Markley, and Roger Ganger from Casstown, Raplh Skilts of Piqua, and Rick Covault of Fletcher. Keith Petty is the credited songwriter on both sides
