Minutemen / John and Gunther

Cincinnati, 1963-7

The Minutmen were a folk duo of Mike Zwertschek and Jack Lohman. These University of Cincinnati students were members of the Balladers, the U of C folk singing club. The two Minutemen released a straight folk 45 on Fraternity. Later, in 1967, they released a 45 on Counterpart, credited to John and Gunther, that adds an electric rock band and is quite solid.
