Jay and Ray / Twilighters

Toledo,1965

This duo released a 45 on Atila, the custom label of Johnny and the Hurricanes. A post on a Toledo music Facebook group, and Discogs (not sure which is the source) provided some info on the band. Ray Gallaway was a member of the Twilighters, a Toledo band. Together with Jay Gallaway (his brother, we assume) they recorded the record with Jim Gartee (guitar), Paul Wood (bass), and Larry Sulier (drums). Ray Gallaway was also credited with guitar. We can't be sure this info is all correct.

The record has a teen rock sound, the record is well recorded and produced. 

There isn't much more available on the band. Larry Sulier attended Whitmer High School in the early 1960s, the other members were probably the same age.

Jim Gartee was in Odessey in the early 1970s
