the In-Be-Tweens
Cleveland, 1968-9

This four member group included two black and two white members, hence the band name. The band included Larry Rogers, Dill Anderson, Jerry Deranek, and Jimmy Walsh. The group played places like the Vanguard Lounge, and opened for David Ruffin in Kent.
They recorded one excellent 45 on Blue Onion. The A side, "She's Walking Down the Street" is a driving soul number with acoustic rhythm guitar - an unusual combination that fits with the band name!
