the Gillian Row

Dayton, 1966-7

The Gillian Row came from the Belmont area of Dayton, and included Joe Higgins, the brother of Pictorian Skifful member Jim Higgins. Dave Hussong was the guitarist. The band's sole recording was a raw and tough version of "Gloria" that was recorded around the same time as the Shadows Of Knight version was breaking. The recording was the last song on side 2 of the WONE Dayton Scene LP.
