Fleet

Cleveland, 1970-1

Fleet were a young band, averaging about 15-16 years old, when they started. They were mentored by December's Children and developed a good reputation, enough were they were considered to be part of the big Mainstream records band sweep of 1970.

The band's most renowed member was guitarist Todd Sharp, who played in Hall and Oates' touring band around 1978-9 when they were reaching their peak popularity.  Other members were Dave Snyder on bass, Jim Rieger on keyboards, BIlly Saltzman on drums, and Ron Thatch as lead singer.

Although they ended up not recording, Saltzman made the trip to Miami with December's Children and got a credit on the LP as 'Mr. Traps'.
