The Fish were around for at least 3 years. The 1965 story above lists the members as Gary Eichler as leader, with Joseph Payne, Jacy Roy, and Larry Norvell.  Finding more details in the newspapers was tough, with the band moniker.

The band recorded a 45 at Jewel that had a odd reworking of Slim Harpo's "Scratch My Back" in the A side. The flip appears to be a band original, a bluesy garage song with a blasting fuzz lead. "Heat", indeed! Accoding to a Youtube posting, Larry Norvell was the singer. The record is credited to the Fabulous Fish, a name that was not found in newspaper searches so they have used the Fish for performing.
