Dave Allison

Muncie. IN/Fairfield. OH, 1960s

Dave Allison recorded three 45s for Ohio labels. According to a 1965 blurb in the Muncie. IN paper, his family was from Muncie but he moved to Fairfield. OH. Tommy Wills said that he lived somewhere between Dayton and Richmond, IN when he recorded his two 45s for Wills' Terry label in 1962.

The 45s on Terry have a  rockabilly/country bopper sound, while the 45 on Sunrise is straight country, typical for the label.
