the Buckinghams / Just Two

Cincinnati, 1965-6

The Buckinghams were the credited band on an obscure Prism label 45 released in early 1966. The songs are original garage-pop with the Prism style production, credirted to Amman and Carroll

Originally we thought this band...which are not the Chicago hitmakers, our group predates them by a few months...were from Dayton or Indiana. The above article places the songwriters in Cincinnati so we assume that they were (some of) the band. 

There is no listing we could find of the Buckinghams (the local version) in the local papers. The name was probably a Prism label concoction.

Finch Carroll is deceased.
