the Bronzemen

Springfield?, 1964

pic

Little is known about the Bronzemen, They recorded a 45 on Prism that was the first record on the revived Prism label now run by Floyd Whited, and before Andy Apperson was co-owner.

The record has a country-rockabilly A-side and and an R&B instrumental B side. There are no writer credits and the songs were not copyrighted. They were probably a club band.

The record has a primitive version of the Prism logo that was refined and colorized for all later records. The logo was designed by Lenny Davis, the Prism label founder.
