Bender Sisters
Cleveland, late 1950s - early 1960s
A trio of girls, Betty, Nancy, and Marsha Bender made a lone 45 in 1959, with Jimmy Testa and Gene Toney behind the songs and recordings. The 45 was released on Lowe, which is a bit of a mystery as the label seems to have been operated by Bernie Lowe from Philadelphia, but there's no definitive proof.
A newspaper article from 1961 says they recorded a promotional jingle for a Cleveland Zoo funding bond issue. No other info available to us.
