PFFT

Columbus, 1969-72

This group was formed by several accomplished veterans of the mid 60s Columbus band scene, and quickly became one of Columbus's top club bands. Formed by Chuck Wilson (x- Toads, Soul) and Jim Harris (x- Sidewinders), PFFT also included Tim Murphy (vocals and bass), Bill Tremaine (organ and vocals), Dennis Sholbolock (drums), and Jim Farbaugh (piano and vocals).

In the spring of '70 PFFT recorded 4 songs at Musicol, including "So Fine", "Kaleidoscope", "Nobody", and "Good Time Living". A 45 was pressed with "Nobody" and "Good Time Living" (both Three Dog Night songs) and was sold by the group at their shows. Additional live recordings were done at the Bistro club in Columbus. By this time Jim Farbaugh had left the band and Dave Harshman was on bass.

After PFFT ended, several of the members regrouped as Humboogie, with a different Harris, Davey, formerly of the Four Knights and Apocalypse, replacing Jim
