Cleveland, 1964-7
Mike Mann was the lead singer of this combo that had the Cleveland rock-n-roll sound using a couple different names. The group "recorded" a 45 in New York, but actually Mike Mann sang the vocals with a studio band providing the backing for the two sides "Twice As Much On Sunday" and "Love's For Boys and Girls". The record was pressed at Boddie and released on Gloria label named after Mike Mann's mother. Juke box strips were even printed for the record. Mike Mann (and some other members of the group) became Dust, and Mann was later in Scratch. He is deceased.
