Lorain, 1960-?
Lee Rand was a nightclub singer who recorded some pop sides in a comtemporary style that used some rock-n-roll musicians. One of his recordings was a cover of the Jive Kings 'Preacher Man'.
Several of Lee's records were local hits and he was well known in the area. He also recorded the vocals for the "Klak-Stik" song that was used to promote a locally made toy.
