Pataskala, 1965-8
This three member band included Dave Maze (guitar), Harold Smith (drums), amd Eddie Tucker (bass).
The band released two 45s on the Nashville based Champ label. Champ was primarily a gospel label but in their early times they solicited bands in trade magazines which was probably how the band ended up there. The music is 60s rock with some blues and early rock. They sound like they were influenced by Columbus people such as Bill Strickland and the Bishops.
Dave Maze was killed in the Vietnam War. Harold Smith most recently was playing in a band called Mirage
Thanks to Harold Smith
